Got any good examples?

Unfortunately, America--largely because of its media industry--sets the majority of global trends, from sprawl to obesity to mindless consumption. That said, Australia and Canada are the only countries that can do sprawl correctly due to its geography and economic conditions (China would certainly try to sprawl if its citizens were richer).

I dropped all social media except Strava (I'm a runner) on 31 December, 2022. I miss sharing photos as I enjoy that, but I don't miss how IG filled in the in-between moments with what's ultimately meaningless activity.
